Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

From collegiate years on through alumnae involvement, the reason AOIIs continue service is the joy of spending time together and sharing the insights learned from the relationships we build and sustain.

Letter from the President
Welcome to Alpha Omicron Pi at Miami University! We are so happy to give you a glimpse into our chapter and introduce you to the 160 women that make it so special. My name is Kalia Russell, and I am honored to serve as Omega’s Chapter President.
Here at the Miami University chapter of AOII, we value inspiration, authenticity, loyalty, respect, and empathy. These values are evident in the way we support and encourage each other through thick and thin, take pride in representing Alpha Omicron Pi throughout the Miami University community, and above all, deeply and truly care for one another.
The women of Omega chapter are ambitious, authentic, and loyal — always serving one another and their community selflessly and with compassion. Our sisterhood is like no other — unfailing, all-encompassing and truly unique.
Alpha Omicron Pi has given me more than I could have ever expected — a support system, a home away from home, my best friends, and countless opportunities to challenge myself and grow as a person, a friend, and as a leader. The experiences I have had in Alpha Omicron Pi are ones I will look back on fondly for the rest of my life.
I am beyond proud to lead this chapter and will forever be grateful for Alpha Omicron Pi and all it has given me.
